The American Dream
Thousands of foreign and people outside United states are following and dreaming about “The American Dream”. From many years, United States has been seen as a very solid economy and the country where dreams can be real.
Countries Like Mexico, Venezuela and most of central America are suffering from inequality, politic corruption and a very unbalanced economy making people and even families struggle with their basic needs and even with weekly food. Reason why all these people try to go to United states and try to restart a new life and find new options. And the fact that the dollar is stronger than almost any currency out there makes it easier for all those people to work and send some money to their families or people in their countries.
To this point everything looks good and reasonable for all those who are coming to United States but when they get here they have to deal with many legal problems, High rent and grocery’s and many limitations to work ending up working twice as hard as they use to have in another country with language barriers in order to barely maintain themselves.
As far as me and a feature profile im from Colombia and I came to United States to study and with the goal of being a successful student and work and make money. But as the years came by I realized that the “American Dream” is not what people think it is and that there is many limitations in regards to getting good jobs and actually there is racism and preference to the locals on many states. Where foreigns are seen as the low class workers without many chances.
Therefore the best you can do is either come here with a plan and with paperwork or finish your studies and go back to find better choices at the country of residence. You will be more qualified.
