"Spring has Sprung" story

April Fools Day

After I did my research I was very captivated by the meaning and thought of this celebration. I had heard it before where I’m from and definitely on the media but never realized it was a celebration.  I began my research and find out that this day was very popular on young people and teens who take advantage of these day to prank and make jokes to their parents, friends or relatives.

April fools day is celebrated on April 1st and it is well known by everyone as the day people tell their parents that they are having a kid or do any kind of jokes related to create an unexpected reaction on the other person and take a laugh and have a good time about it.

With the years, April fools has become a wide social media celebration where pranksters use their imagination to create the best jokes or pranks to present to the public and that way giving relevance and importance to that day. Everyone is waiting to see what do all this guys come up with.

After doing a couple of interviews and asking people, they all agreed on a couple things. They all had plenty of knowledge about the day and what it was but they also agreed on not having any participation or pranking anyone. They also said that they don’t like being prank or they have never been pranked because it was more a social media thing that a real thing they said. They also said that just a very few people actually celebrate this day or act as it is important sometimes they even forget and just remember when seeing the funny videos on the media.

To conclude, April fools day is one of those numerous things that the media has taken. It is important to have in consideration that now a day’s media is taking over many of the customs and culture of the previews generation to a more technologic and entertained world. This is just one more inventions of us the millennials!
